“Die Sendung mit der Maus” WDR

For “Die Sendung mit der Maus” on WDR, we recreated the inside of a cinema projector. The installation shows how a large prism splits light into red, green and blue. Small mirrors then reflect the light so rapidly that a moving image appears.

The structure consists of an MDF column and a mirrored box. A total of 580 small movable mirrors are mounted on aluminium rods attached to an MDF panel.
